Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Artist'S Muse by Nikolai Leykin was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2011. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,828.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nikolai Leykin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The artist's muse in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,499.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Artist'S Muse von Nikolai Leykin kam im März 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.828,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nikolai Leykin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The artist's muse im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.499,96).
