Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Daydreaming by Nikolai Leykin was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in June 2010. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,216.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Leykin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The artist's muse in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,499.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Daydreaming von Nikolai Leykin wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.216,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Leykin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The artist's muse im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.499,96).
