Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reclining nude by Nikolai Leykin was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,480.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nikolai Leykin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The artist's muse in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,499.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reclining nude von Nikolai Leykin wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.480,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nikolai Leykin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The artist's muse im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.499,96).
