Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zaporozhian attack by Nikolai Samokish was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,944.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Samokish achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Red Cavalry At Perekop in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 116,500.00 (€ 140,192.16).
