Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nikolai Ovchinnikov could be acquired at Sothebys in London in February 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Russian Art auction, the work Kushat' Podano Dinner Is Served changed hands for GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,905.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Ovchinnikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work K.S.V. No.4, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 54,500.00 (€ 68,465.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nikolai Ovchinnikov konnte im Februar 2007 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Russian Art wechselte die Arbeit Kushat' Podano Dinner Is Served für GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.905,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Ovchinnikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit K.S.V. No.4 beobachtet, die im März 2008 für GBP 54.500,00 (€ 68.465,52) versteigert wurde.
