A top price for Nikolai Kasatkin - as previously expected
In June 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Summer, Studio Window by Nikolai Kasatkin. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,020.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Summer, Studio Window is the most expensive artwork by Nikolai Kasatkin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer, Studio Window von Nikolai Kasatkin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.020,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Summer, Studio Window das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nikolai Kasatkin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
