Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Sale - Paintings, which included the work Summer, Studio Window by Nikolai Kasatkin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,800.00 (€ 16,026.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nikolai Kasatkin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2008 the work Summer, Studio Window was auctioned for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,020.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Sale - Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer, Studio Window von Nikolai Kasatkin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.800,00 (€ 16.026,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Kasatkin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2008 die Arbeit Summer, Studio Window für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.020,80) versteigert.
