Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in New York held the auction European Art | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Six Drawings: St. John the Baptist; Two Saints; unframed. by Nikifor. The price achieved of USD 2,048.00 (€ 1,877.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Nikifor have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November this year the work Village Square in Krynica, Poland framed 30.5 x 35.5 x 1.5 cm (12 x 14 x 3/4 in). was auctioned for USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,933.63).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion European Art | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Six Drawings: St. John the Baptist; Two Saints; unframed. von Nikifor zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.048,00 (€ 1.877,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden.
