This artwork by Nikifor achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in November last year. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Landscape. sold for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,552.36) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nikifor; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Village Square in Krynica, Poland framed 30.5 x 35.5 x 1.5 cm (12 x 14 x 3/4 in). sold at auction in November this year with the realized price of USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,933.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nikifor erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit Landscape. für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.552,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nikifor; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Village Square in Krynica, Poland framed 30.5 x 35.5 x 1.5 cm (12 x 14 x 3/4 in). im November diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 3.200,00 (€ 2.933,63).
