Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Nie Mu was sold in the Contemporary Chinese Art II auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 4,944.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nie Mu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bodhisattva, which sold at auction in April 2007 for HKD 144,000.00 (€ 13,482.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nie Mu wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art II bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 4.944,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nie Mu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bodhisattva beobachtet, die im April 2007 für HKD 144.000,00 (€ 13.482,87) versteigert wurde.
