Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Twins(Executed In 2007) by Nie Mu was sold in the The Schoeni Family Collection auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,298.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nie Mu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bodhisattva in April 2007 with an auction result of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 13,482.87).
