A top price for Nicolas Régnier
In October 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters, which included the work Saint Jerome by Nicolas Régnier. The »bidding war« ended at USD 468,500.00 (€ 413,430.99), 34% above the upper estimate. With this result, Saint Jerome is even the most expensive work of art by Nicolas Régnier that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint Jerome von Nicolas Régnier zur Versteigerung kam. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Saint Jerome sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nicolas Régnier, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
