The work Cat by Nicolas Party was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 3,024,000.00 (€ 362,459.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Party achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Sunset in November last year with an auction result of HKD 52,050,000.00 (€ 6,458,979.95).

Die Arbeit Cat von Nicolas Party wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.024.000,00 (€ 362.459,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Party erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Sunset im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.050.000,00 (€ 6.458.979,95).
