Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours including a Fine Collection of Old Master Prints, which included the work A white dwarf Spitz by Nicolas Huet. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,727.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Huet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Tiger in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 108,000.00 (€ 83,089.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours including a Fine Collection of Old Master Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit A white dwarf Spitz von Nicolas Huet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.727,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Huet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Tiger im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 108.000,00 (€ 83.089,71).
