The work Untitled (Cats) by Nicolás García Uriburu was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2015. The »bidding war« ended at USD 106,250.00 (€ 100,596.48), 52% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nicolás García Uriburu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Marie Antoinette And Cats) sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Cats) von Nicolás García Uriburu wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 100.596,48) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nicolás García Uriburu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (Marie Antoinette And Cats) im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
