Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre by Nicolás García Uriburu. The price achieved of EUR 48,920.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolás García Uriburu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Marie Antoinette And Cats), which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Nicolás García Uriburu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 48.920,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolás García Uriburu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Marie Antoinette And Cats) beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80) versteigert wurde.
