Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Marina con barca all'attracco, 1921 by Nicolò de Corsi. The price achieved of EUR 1,178.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolò de Corsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tramonto in costiera in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 14,700,000.00 (€ 13,212.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marina con barca all'attracco, 1921 von Nicolò de Corsi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.178,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolò de Corsi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tramonto in costiera im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 14.700.000,00 (€ 13.212,00).
