Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Marina A Napoli by Nicolò de Corsi for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolò de Corsi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tramonto in costiera, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 14,700,000.00 (€ 13,212.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Marina A Napoli von Nicolò de Corsi für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolò de Corsi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tramonto in costiera beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 14.700.000,00 (€ 13.212,00) versteigert wurde.
