Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Fuochi di S. Antonio by Nicolò de Corsi for EUR 300.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 350.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolò de Corsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tramonto in costiera in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 14,700,000.00 (€ 13,212.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fuochi di S. Antonio von Nicolò de Corsi für EUR 300,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 350,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolò de Corsi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tramonto in costiera im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 14.700.000,00 (€ 13.212,00).
