It achieved a price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,502.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nicolas Cammillieri of Malta; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The British barque Anna Robertson of Scarborough leaving Malta sold at auction in May 2011 with the realized price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,431.64).

Die Arbeit H.M.S. Warspite engaging two Egyptian corvettes at Navarino von Nicolas Cammillieri of Malta kam im November 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.502,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%.
