In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The English Barque Robert & Ann Leaving Malta by Nicolas Cammillieri of Malta. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,772.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas Cammillieri of Malta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The British barque Anna Robertson of Scarborough leaving Malta, which sold at auction in May 2011 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,431.64).
