This artwork by Nicolai Fechin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. In the Portrait of the WestThe Diane and Sam Stewart Collection auction, the work Russian Poet sold for USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,036.02) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolai Fechin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Nadezhda Sapozhnikova in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 3,650,900.00 (€ 4,144,314.62).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicolai Fechin erzielte im August 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
