In August 2020 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art, which included the work Portrait of Berenice Montgomery Strathearn by Nicolai Fechin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,393.60), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolai Fechin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Nadezhda Sapozhnikova in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 3,650,900.00 (€ 4,144,314.62).

Im August 2020 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Berenice Montgomery Strathearn von Nicolai Fechin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.825,00 (€ 7.393,60) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolai Fechin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Nadezhda Sapozhnikova im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.650.900,00 (€ 4.144.314,62).
