Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolai Fechin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Nadezhda Sapozhnikova in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 3,650,900.00 (€ 4,144,314.62).

Die Arbeit Abuelo von Nicolai Fechin kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 209.450,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolai Fechin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Nadezhda Sapozhnikova im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.650.900,00 (€ 4.144.314,62).
