The work 'Wildbad Enz Promenade' by Nicolaas van der Waay was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolaas van der Waay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Een werkstaking: Strike of the Ballerinas in May 2010 with an auction result of EUR 40,600.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit 'Wildbad Enz Promenade' von Nicolaas van der Waay wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolaas van der Waay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Een werkstaking: Strike of the Ballerinas im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.600,00.
