Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch A Naval View by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom was sold in the 19th Century Paintings auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2008. The price achieved of EUR 20,650.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 69,750.00 (€ 119,409.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch A Naval View von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 20.650,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.750,00 (€ 119.409,18).
