Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Ven: a lake in a wooded landscape by Nicolaas Bastert. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,160.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolaas Bastert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The river Vecht in Autumn in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 19,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ven: a lake in a wooded landscape von Nicolaas Bastert zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.160,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolaas Bastert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The river Vecht in Autumn im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.200,00.
