In July 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction From Coast to Coast: Property from a Private Florida Collection, which included the work Little Marina by Nicola Simbari. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,839.14), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nicola Simbari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Plage in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,989.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion From Coast to Coast: Property from a Private Florida Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Little Marina von Nicola Simbari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.839,14) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola Simbari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Plage im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.989,17).
