Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Sailboats in the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius beyond by Nicola De Corsi for USD 500.00 (€ 453.23). This price was achieved in the auction Living With Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Nicola De Corsi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sailboats in the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius beyond in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 2,031.50 (€ 2,055.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sailboats in the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius beyond von Nicola De Corsi für USD 500,00 (€ 453,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola De Corsi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sailboats in the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius beyond im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.031,50 (€ 2.055,97).
