Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with blossom in a glass pot by Nico van Rijn for EUR 239.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nico van Rijn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A still life with chrysanthemums - in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 3,360.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with blossom in a glass pot von Nico van Rijn für EUR 239,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nico van Rijn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A still life with chrysanthemums - im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.360,00.
