Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nick Smith achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October last year. In the Pop X Culture auction, the work Van Gogh, 2020 sold for GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,753.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Nick Smith have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work $ 195,040,000 USD, 2022 in October this year with an auction result of GBP 21,760.00 (€ 24,986.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nick Smith erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pop X Culture wurde die Arbeit Van Gogh, 2020 für GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.753,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nick Smith auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit $ 195,040,000 USD, 2022 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.760,00 (€ 24.986,53).
