Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Line of Rangers, Amboseli by Nick Brandt was auctioned at Phillips in London in November this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,620.00 (€ 8,829.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Brandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elephant drinking, Amboseli, 2007 in May 2018 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,639.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Line of Rangers, Amboseli von Nick Brandt kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.620,00 (€ 8.829,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Brandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elephant drinking, Amboseli, 2007 im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 99.639,03).
