Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Still Life With Teapot And Bowl of Fruit by Nicholas Hely Hutchinson. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 717.00 (€ 1,031.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicholas Hely Hutchinson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trafalgar Square, which sold at auction in March this year for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,626.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Teapot And Bowl of Fruit von Nicholas Hely Hutchinson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 717,00 (€ 1.031,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicholas Hely Hutchinson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trafalgar Square beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.626,40) versteigert wurde.
