Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two white Yachts by Nicholas Hely Hutchinson was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2000. The price achieved of GBP 258.50 (€ 422.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Admittedly, works by Nicholas Hely Hutchinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trafalgar Square in March this year with an auction result of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,626.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two white Yachts von Nicholas Hely Hutchinson kam im November 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 258,50 (€ 422,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicholas Hely Hutchinson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trafalgar Square im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.626,40).
