The work Pine and Rock by Ni Yuanlu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 1,620,000.00 (€ 197,407.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 62%. Admittedly, works by Ni Yuanlu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poems In Cursive Script in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 1,325,000.00 (€ 1,049,255.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 62 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pine and Rock von Ni Yuanlu kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.620.000,00 (€ 197.407,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ni Yuanlu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poems In Cursive Script im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.325.000,00 (€ 1.049.255,62).
