This artwork by Ni Yuanlu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Five-character Poem in Running Script sold for HKD 596,000.00 (€ 59,096.08) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ni Yuanlu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems In Cursive Script in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 1,325,000.00 (€ 1,049,255.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 99 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ni Yuanlu erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Five-character Poem in Running Script für HKD 596.000,00 (€ 59.096,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ni Yuanlu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems In Cursive Script im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.325.000,00 (€ 1.049.255,62).
