This artwork by Ni Yuanlu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy In Cursive Script sold for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 58,413.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ni Yuanlu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems In Cursive Script in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 1,325,000.00 (€ 1,049,255.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ni Yuanlu erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Cursive Script für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 58.413,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ni Yuanlu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems In Cursive Script im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.325.000,00 (€ 1.049.255,62).
