Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Peintre Et Son Modèle (The Artist And His Model) by Nguyen Sang for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 10,319.82). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Nguyen Sang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work MAN WITH ROOSTER in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 57,881.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Peintre Et Son Modèle (The Artist And His Model) von Nguyen Sang für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 10.319,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyen Sang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit MAN WITH ROOSTER im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 57.881,92).
