Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Not Amused", 2011-2021 by Nathalia Edenmont was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 140,000.00 – 160,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 135,000.00 (€ 12,469.67). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nathalia Edenmont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Just a Dream", 2016, which sold at auction in November 2021 for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 25,361.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Not Amused", 2011-2021 von Nathalia Edenmont im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 140.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 135.000,00 (€ 12.469,67) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nathalia Edenmont mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Just a Dream", 2016 beobachtet, die im November 2021 für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 25.361,92) versteigert wurde.
