Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nasser Chaura achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2007. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 32,200.00 (€ 22,256.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nasser Chaura; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,373.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nasser Chaura erzielte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 32.200,00 (€ 22.256,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nasser Chaura; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.373,06).
