This artwork by Nasser Chaura achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work The Enchanted Forest sold for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,098.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasser Chaura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,373.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nasser Chaura erzielte im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wurde die Arbeit The Enchanted Forest für GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.098,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasser Chaura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.373,06) versteigert wurde.
