Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures In A Landscape by Nasjah Djamin was auctioned at Sothebys in Singapore in April 2007. The price achieved of SGD 4,800.00 (€ 2,312.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SGD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasjah Djamin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wanita Nelayan (Women selling fish), which sold at auction in October 2002 for HKD 65,725.00 (€ 8,527.42).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von SGD 4.800,00 (€ 2.312,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SGD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasjah Djamin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wanita Nelayan (Women selling fish) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für HKD 65.725,00 (€ 8.527,42) versteigert wurde.
