Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Abstraksi Ruang (Abstraction Of Space) by Nasirun. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,114.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasirun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pemandangan Dari Atas (Landscape From Above), which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,082.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstraksi Ruang (Abstraction Of Space) von Nasirun zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.114,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasirun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pemandangan Dari Atas (Landscape From Above) beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.082,61) versteigert wurde.
