In August this year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionThe Artist's Eye, which included the work Reclining Nudes, 1943 by Nancy Borlase. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 5,535.00 (€ 3,302.92), 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Nancy Borlase have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 7,380.00 (€ 4,423.32) in April this year for the work Nudes with Skull, 1949.

Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionThe Artist's Eye durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reclining Nudes, 1943 von Nancy Borlase zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 5.535,00 (€ 3.302,92) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Nancy Borlase haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 7.380,00 (€ 4.423,32) im April diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Nudes with Skull, 1949 beobachtet.
