Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled, 1970 by Nancy Borlase was sold in the The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionA Curated Salon auction at Bonhams in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 1,353.00 (€ 810.94). Admittedly, works by Nancy Borlase have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nudes with Skull, 1949 in April this year with an auction result of AUD 7,380.00 (€ 4,423.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 1970 von Nancy Borlase wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionA Curated Salon bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 1.353,00 (€ 810,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nancy Borlase auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nudes with Skull, 1949 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 7.380,00 (€ 4.423,32).
