Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nalini Malani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Mumbai in December 2013. In the South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled; Endgame sold for INR 562,500.00 (€ 6,613.32) - well above the upper estimate of INR 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nalini Malani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Manipulating Reality in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 90,066.91).
