In March 2019 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work The Game by Nalini Malani. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,718.92) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nalini Malani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Manipulating Reality, which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 122,500.00 (€ 90,066.91).

Im März 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Game von Nalini Malani zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.718,92) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nalini Malani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Manipulating Reality beobachtet, die im September 2010 für USD 122.500,00 (€ 90.066,91) versteigert wurde.
