Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nahum B. Zenil could be acquired at Christies in New York in May 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Sale Evening Session auction, the work Actores changed hands for USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,570.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nahum B. Zenil achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nahum B. Zenil (b. 1947) in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,677.59).
