Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Actores by Nahum B. Zenil for USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,651.04). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Nahum B. Zenil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nahum B. Zenil (b. 1947) in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,677.59).
