Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Study) by Mykola Bilous for GBP 756.00 (€ 889.36). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Discoveries at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Mykola Bilous have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Norm in May last year with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,929.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Study) von Mykola Bilous für GBP 756,00 (€ 889,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Discoveries bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mykola Bilous auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Norm im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.929,08).
